The government of Canada set out to end toxicity testing on animals, but a groundbreaking lab is still being built.
The lab will be used to study the effects of climate change on animals.
The research will be done in a lab at the University of Toronto.
The project will be funded by the Government of Canada and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA)
