A $1 million donation to Rice University will help establish a program that aims to improve the economy of the human brain, the Houston Chronicle reports.
The Baker Institute of Public Policy will receive the donation from Harry Yan and Weiman Gao.
According to a press release, the Neuro-Policy Program will be "at the forefront of pioneering data analysis, empirical research, and policy application" in the field of brain health.
Harris Eyre, the lead researcher for the program, calls the human brain the "brain capital" of the US.
