To combat climate change, cities around the world are turning to crowdfunding and other means of raising money.
The European Commission has launched the Climate City Capital Hub to help those cities raise the funds they need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change, Phys.org reports.
The hub, which will be based in Brussels, will provide advice on how to raise funds for projects including energy efficient buildings, renewable energy systems, urban renewal, and regeneration, water and social infrastructure, and more, according to a press release.
The EU has awarded 33 cities with the "EU Mission for Climate Neutral and Smart Cities" for their plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change. Read the Entire Article
